The online game Fortnite from Epic Games is very popular around the world. This is probably what prompted SanDisk to release a product specifically for fans of the project. We are talking about a portable solid-state drive, which is made in the style of Peely the Banana.
Buyers will have access to two versions of the drive with a capacity of 1 TB and 2 TB at prices of $90 and $150, respectively. In addition to this, SanDisk has released a USB flash drive in the same style, which can be a great addition to your portable storage. According to the manufacturer, both devices are limited edition, but it is more likely that the series will be limited by how many SanDisk devices can sell.
As part of the presentation of new products at CES 2025, the manufacturer presented other interesting devices. One of them is the Creator Phone SSD, which is equipped with a MagSafe-compatible magnetic mount. This allows the drive to be attached to the back of an iPhone or Android smartphone with a third-party MagSafe case. However, to transfer data, the drive still needs to be connected using a USB Type-C connector. Buyers will have access to 1 TB and 2 TB versions of the device. The first option will cost $110; the cost of a more capacious SSD has not been announced.
Users of older smartphones may be interested in the Creator Phone Drive, which is equipped with USB Type-C and Lightning ports. However, this device is only available in a 256 GB version, and its price ranges from $50 to $70.
