Lenovo introduced the Legion Tab (2025) gaming tablet – Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 2.5K screen for $500

At CES 2025, Lenovo introduced the updated Legion Tab (2025) tablet computer. The device received the flagship processor of the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 of its predecessor, as well as a number of other improvements. The new product will be available for purchase later this year.

The tablet is equipped with an 8.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. It supports a variable refresh rate of up to 165Hz, has an aspect ratio of 16:10, and delivers a peak brightness of 500 cd/m². The panel is used with a screen sampling rate of 144 Hz in games and 288 Hz in non-game modes. Coverage of the DCI-P3 color space is claimed to be 98%. The design provides two cameras: the main one is 13 megapixels and the front one is 8 megapixels.

The Legion Tab (2025) is powered by an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 microprocessor, which is manufactured using a 4 nm process technology. An Adreno 750 accelerator is provided for graphics processing. The configuration is complemented by 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 256 GB UFS 4.0 drive. You can expand the disk space using a microSD memory card.

Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 7 802.11 ax (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.4 modules. The power source is a 6550 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 45 W. A USB Type-C 2.0 interface is provided to connect the charger. The tablet features a 15% larger Legion Coldfront vapor chamber than its predecessor.

Legion Tab (2025) has dimensions of 298.54 × 129.46 × 7.79 mm and weighs 350 g. It runs Android 14 with the proprietary ZUI 16.1 interface. The manufacturer promises to release OS updates for the tablet for 3 years and security updates for 4 years. The Legion Tab (2025) will be available at retail soon for $500.
