Razer has introduced the updated Razer Blade 16 laptop. The manufacturer calls it the thinnest gaming laptop in its range – its thickness is only 1.5 cm. The new product offers processors from the AMD Ryzen AI series and Nvidia’s new generation Blackwell video cards.

The company notes that the updated Razer Blade 16 is up to 32% thinner than previous generation Blade laptop models. Despite this, the updated Blade 16 received a new keyboard with key travel increased to 1.5 mm (50% more). This makes the keys more pleasant to press when typing.

The updated gaming laptop is ready to offer AMD processors up to 12-core and 24-thread Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 from the Strix Point series (four Zen 5 cores and eight Zen 5c) with frequencies up to 5.1 GHz. The chip is equipped with powerful integrated graphics RDNA 3.5 with 16 execution units operating at frequencies up to 2900 MHz. In addition, the processor has an AI accelerator (NPU) XDNA 2 with a performance of 50 TOPS.

In addition to powerful integrated graphics, the new Blade 16 is ready to offer next-generation Nvidia discrete graphics cards up to the flagship GeForce RTX 5090 with 24 GB of memory.

The updated Razer Blade 16 also features a 16-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. The screen has an ultra-fast response of just 0.2 ms and provides crystal clear images even in fast-paced scenes.

The company says the laptop’s chassis is made from a single piece of milled aluminum and anodized for greater environmental resistance. In addition, the new product is equipped with an effective cooling system, which includes an evaporation chamber.

The updated Razer Blade 16 is expected to go on sale in the first quarter of 2025.
