The new collection of accessories includes the $199 DualSense Edge gamepad, $149 Pulse Elite and $199 Pulse Explorer headphones, and the $199 PlayStation Portal handheld gaming console. Although this news is not related to the CES 2025 exhibition taking place these days, it coincided with the announcement of three new film adaptations of Sony video game franchises.

Sony has announced its intention to release a film based on the cooperative action thriller Helldivers 2 from Arrowhead Game Studios. The company also stated that the Horizon Zero Dawn adaptation is no longer a Netflix-produced series, but a full-length film that follows the rise of protagonist Aloy. It was also announced that the second season of The Last of Us will premiere in April on HBO.

The new PlayStation 5 accessories will be available to pre-order starting January 16th. Sales of the devices will begin on February 20.
