Palit presented its versions of the latest GeForce RTX 5080, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and GeForce RTX 5070 generation Blackwell video cards in proprietary GameRock and GamingPro versions. All new products will be available both in versions with and without additional factory GPU overclocking.
For the new series of Nvidia graphics accelerators, the company has updated its signature GameRock and GamingPro designs. In particular, in the design of GameRock, the manufacturer abandoned the crystal design of the cooling system casing.
Instead of crystals, the “Chameleon Panel” is now used, which constantly changes color with the effect of optical camouflage. This dynamic visual effect is combined with Palit’s ARGB Sync Evo feature. The universal 5V ARGB header synchronizes the graphics card’s lighting with the lighting of other components without the need for additional software.
The cooling system for GeForce RTX 5080, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and GeForce RTX 5070 video cards from GameRock includes three TurboFan 4.0 fans. The special shape of the blade tips and grooves on their back side allow the fans to operate up to 33% quieter compared to the previous generation. Updated radiator fins are angled at 30 degrees to concentrate airflow and provide more efficient heat dissipation.
GameRock’s cooling system also uses composite heat-conducting pipes that combine knurling and sintered powder structures. This ensures uniform fluid circulation for maximum heat dissipation. The vapor chamber completely covers the GPU and video memory, which helps improve heat transfer.
The GamingPro series, despite having all the advanced cooling technologies presented by GameRock, focuses on stable performance without frills in design. ARGB backlighting is also present in GamingPro, but to a lesser extent than in GameRock.
The GamingPro cooling system also uses TurboFan 4.0 fans, which support a semi-passive operating mode: when the load on the graphics subsystem is low, the fans do not spin, which minimizes the noise level of the working PC.
The GamingPro Series continues to support the “Author” concept. The specially designed cooling system allows users to customize the shroud with 3D printing while still maintaining the warranty.
For the GamingPro series video cards, the manufacturer has also provided a dual BIOS system with quiet and performance modes.
