Nvidia introduced mobile video cards GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070

In addition to the latest desktop graphics cards, Nvidia introduced the GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 graphics accelerators for gaming laptops. They offer from 8 to 24 GB of video memory, and power consumption levels range from 50 to 150 W.

GeForce RTX 50 series mobile graphics cards, like their desktop counterparts, are based on Nvidia Blackwell microarchitecture, which offers higher performance and energy efficiency. Laptops with Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards can be as thin as 14.9mm thanks to innovative Max-Q solutions. An important advantage of the models is GDDR7 memory, which operates at low voltages, which contributes to longer battery life for laptops.

The top of the line Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 is equipped with a flagship graphics processor and 24 GB of GDDR7 memory with a 256-bit bus interface. The chip has 10,496 CUDA cores, a TGP of 95–150 W, and performance in artificial intelligence tasks of 1824 TOPS.

The mobile GeForce RTX 5080 boasts 7680 CUDA cores, 16 GB of GDDR7 memory (256 bit) and TGP 80-150 W; the RTX 5070 Ti has 5888 CUDA cores, 12 GB GDDR7 (192 bit) and TGP 60–115 W on board; and the youngest in the RTX 5070 line received 4608 CUDA cores, 8 GB GDDR7 (128 bit) and TGP 50–100 W.

The first laptops with Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards are expected to hit the market in March. They will be released by the company’s leading partners, including Acer, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, Mechrevo, MSI and Razer.
