HP introduced the flagship business laptop EliteBook Ultra G1i with Core Ultra and weighing only 1195 grams

HP presented a new generation of business laptops, the EliteBook Ultra G1i, at CES 2025. Equipped with cutting-edge AI technology, the device features an ultra-thin design, the latest generation of powerful Intel Core Ultra processor, a 14-inch OLED display and advanced security features.

The new HP EliteBook Ultra G1i is specifically designed for artificial intelligence (AI) and graphics. Intel Core Ultra 5 and 7 processors feature three compute units that optimize processing of AI tasks, improve video conferencing, and enable complex visual content creation. The laptop has a processing power of 48 TOPS in AI tasks, which, according to the company, allows you to easily “achieve your goals.” Operating system: Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro.

The device comes in an elegant blue color and features an ultra-thin and lightweight body. Weight starts at 1,195 kg, depending on configuration. The 14-inch 3K (2880 x 1800 pixels) screen takes up 90.04% of the lid with thin bezels for maximum display area and a 180-degree hinge. The full-size Atmosphere Blue keyboard is backlit, and input is also possible via the high-precision Microsoft Precision touchpad.

The EliteBook Ultra G1i is built on an Intel Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7 processor with a neural processing unit (NPU) and 16 or 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM, depending on the configuration. For data storage, a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD from 256 GB to 2 TB is provided. The HP Wolf Security for Business system is responsible for security, which provides protection at the hardware level against modern threats, including AI-based attacks.

The set of interfaces includes two Thunderbolt 4 USB4 Type-C with a data transfer rate of 40 Gbps, one USB Type-A (data transfer rate of 10 Gbps), one combined headphone and microphone jack. HP 65 W USB Type-C charging is supported, as well as fast charging of external devices HP Fast Charge. Wireless connectivity is offered via Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The laptop measures 13.7mm x 217.25mm x 9.10mm (front) / 12.1mm (rear) with a maximum height of 14.9mm.

According to the company, the HP EliteBook Ultra G1i is not just a laptop, but an intelligent assistant that can optimize the needs of professionals in various fields. “The combination of power, compactness, elegant design and environmental responsibility makes the device an ideal choice for those looking for reliability and innovation in one package,” the company notes in a presentation. In addition, the device is also an example of sustainable manufacturing, using 90% recycled magnesium on the outer cover, at least 50% recycled plastic in the keys, and 100% certified eco-friendly packaging.
