Asus has introduced updated gaming laptops ROG Strix G16 and ROG Strix G18 based on the latest Intel and AMD processors. All variants are also ready to offer Nvidia GeForce discrete graphics from the new RTX 5000 series.

The Asus ROG Strix G16 (G615L) and ROG Strix G18 (G815L) laptop models are equipped with Intel Arrow Lake-HX processors, up to the Core Ultra 9 275HX model. This chip is a mobile version of the desktop flagship Core Ultra 9 285HX. Like its desktop counterpart, it has 24 cores (eight P-cores and 16 E-cores) and operates at up to 5.4 GHz. The processor also contains four Xe graphics cores.
The systems support up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, as well as PCIe 4.0 SSDs up to 2 TB. Asus ROG Strix G16 (G615L) and ROG Strix G18 (G815L) can be equipped with ROG Nebula IPS displays with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, 240 Hz refresh rate, 500 cd/m² brightness, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, Pantone certification Validated and supported by Nvidia technologies G-Sync and Dolby Vision HDR.
The graphics subsystem includes a discrete card up to GeForce RTX 5080 with a maximum power consumption of 175 W. The laptops are equipped with an infrared webcam with support for 1080p resolution, up to two Thunderbolt 5 ports (USB-C with alternative DisplayPort and charging modes), up to three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, one HDMI 2.1 FRL, one 3.5- mm audio output and LAN connector supporting data transfer at speeds up to 2.5 Gbps. Availability of ports depends on the configuration.
Asus ROG Strix G16 (G615L) and ROG Strix G18 (G815L) laptops based on Intel Arrow Lake processors are equipped with a 90 Wh battery, support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and are also equipped with power supplies up to 380 W.
ROG Strix G18 (G814F)
Asus ROG Strix G16 (G614F) and ROG Strix G18 (G814F) are equipped with AMD Ryzen 9000HX (Fire Range) processors, up to 16-core and 32-thread Ryzen 9 9955HX3D with additional 3D V-Cache (total cache capacity) L3 is 144 MB). This processor operates at up to 5.4 GHz.
These models are also available with a variety of display options, including ROG Nebula IPS displays with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 240 Hz refresh rate, 500 cd/m² brightness, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, Pantone Validated certification, Nvidia G-Sync support and Dolby Vision HDR.
Asus ROG Strix G16 (G614F) and ROG Strix G18 (G814F) laptops with AMD chips offer up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives, and discrete graphics GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with power consumption of up to 140 Tue.
These models include an infrared webcam with support for 1080p resolution, one USB4 port (with alternative DisplayPort modes, charging and G-Sync support), another USB4 (with alternative DisplayPort modes and G-Sync support), one LAN with support speed 1 Gbps, one HDMI 2.1 FRL and one 3.5 mm audio output. Availability of ports depends on the configuration. The kit includes a 280 W power supply.
