Huawei has announced its latest mid-range smartphone Enjoy 70X for the Chinese market. The device is already available for pre-order on the home market in several configurations with different internal storage capacities, and it will go on sale on January 10.
As usual, the manufacturer did not disclose some characteristics of the device, including the name of the microprocessor, which became the hardware basis of the Enjoy 70X. According to the source, we are talking about a completely new Kirin 8000A 5G chip, which provides operation in fifth generation communication networks (5G) and is complemented by a Mali-G610 graphics accelerator combined with 8 GB of RAM. Another feature of the device is that it supports Beidou satellite communications, which will allow you to send and receive messages even in the absence of a cellular operator signal. This feature is only available in China.
Enjoy 70X features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2700×1224 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. At the top of the display there is an 8 MP front camera (f/2.0) with support for shooting 4K video. The dual main camera combines a 1/1.56-inch 50 MP sensor (f/1.9) with a 2 MP depth sensor (f/2.4). The main camera also supports 4K video recording.
The smartphone is available in three configuration options with 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB storage. Autonomous operation is provided by a 6100 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 40 W. A USB Type-C interface is provided to connect the charger. Another feature of the Enjoy 70X is the programmable X button, which can be used to perform various actions, such as one-click payment for purchases, one-click calls, etc.
The proprietary operating system Huawei HarmonyOS 4.2 is used as a software platform. The smartphone has dimensions of 164 × 74.8 × 7.98 mm and weighs 189 g. Buyers will be able to choose between black, white, blue and green body color options. As for the retail price, the version of the device with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM will cost approximately $245, the model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM is priced at $273, and for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM you will have to pay $315.
