Nvidia will give away several retro video cards autographed by the company’s founder

Cutting-edge graphics solutions are certainly a valuable gift for many video game fans, but connoisseurs of computer history often collect significant products from past generations. Keeping their needs in mind, Nvidia, in preparation for CES 2025, decided to give away several “museum” graphics cards in special frames with the autograph of the company’s founder.

The first prize among Nvidia subscribers on the X social network was the GeForce 256 video card, introduced in 1999, which the company’s founder and permanent leader does not hesitate to call “the world’s first graphics processor (GPU),” as evidenced by the inscription he personally made on the commemorative frame above his autograph.

Nvidia is going to give away four other video cards to subscribers, similarly framed and autographed by Jensen Huang, but the list of their names has not yet been disclosed. Apparently, these will be products from past years that are significant for the history of the company, which, by luck, were kept in stock. This kind of marketing activity is typical for significant industry events, such as the January CES exhibition, which usually acts as a platform for the announcement of Nvidia’s new gaming products.
