According to Frore Systems, this technology can increase laptop performance by up to 50% without increasing its thickness or noise level. The company has previously demonstrated the promise of AirJet by integrating it into an SSD drive and showing promising results in terms of heat dissipation and stable performance.

The introduction of AirJet into the Galaxy Book4 Edge 14, one of the thinnest laptops in its class, will further enhance the device’s performance. It will be able to operate at power from 12 W to 18 W. In addition, this will allow (by replacing traditional fans with four AirJet chips) to reduce the size of the cooling system by 45%, freeing up internal space to increase battery capacity from 55.9 Wh to 64.8 Wh.

It is claimed that this will lead to an increase in battery life during continuous video playback by 16%, that is, from 20 hours to 23.2 hours. It is also important that the elimination of ventilation holes will preserve the thin design of the laptop and create a dust- and water-resistant case.

Compared to the MacBook Air 15, the Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 with AirJet offers better performance and battery life, delivering 50% more power and 29% more video playback time. “Our AirJet technology is designed for the next generation of laptops, delivering greater performance in compact, ultra-thin devices,” Frore Systems said.

Although at the moment it is difficult for experts to judge the real effectiveness of the new cooling system, interest in AirJet remains high. Samsung is expected to provide more details and officially unveil the updated Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 at the annual technology show CES 2025, which starts on January 7.
