As it became known, the major patch Shooting Star Season (that is, “Season of Shooting Stars”) will update Infinity Nikki to version 1.1 on December 30th. The announcement was accompanied by a two-minute trailer for the new products.

«”Season of Shooting Stars” will run in Infinity Nikki from December 30 to January 23 and will bring with it new storylines, challenges, limited-time events and “amazing outfits to rock the new year.”

As part of the season, Infinity Nikki users will be able to watch meteor showers and take part in a festival of wishes with festive events, unique quests and rewards.

The developers also presented a trailer for the Wings of Desires skin from version 1.1 (the video is attached below), which opens up the ability to soar through the air on a paper crane.

The action of Infinity Nikki takes place in the magical land of Miraland, where the girl Nikki, accompanied by the cat Momo, will have to create different costumes (which give unique abilities) and explore colorful locations.

Infinity Nikki was released on December 5 on PC (Epic Games Store), PS5, iOS and Android. Within 10 days of release, the game’s audience grew to 20 million people. The project’s rating on the OpenCritic aggregator website is 80%.
