Let’s remember that the original Hollywood Animal demo debuted on May 30 and after several patches and three months of availability, it was removed from Steam on August 31. The new trial version was announced in October.

With today’s (December 26) release, the Hollywood Animal demo has received an upgrade to version 0.7.0d. You can view the updated trial edition on the game page on Steam.

The team has largely polished the demo and implemented new systems. According to the developers, some improvements are hidden “under the hood” and may not be noticeable at first glance.

Saves from the demo will be compatible with the Early Access version

Weappy Studio plans to release a patch for the new Hollywood Animal demo in the coming days. The studio’s goal is to fix as many problems as possible before the start of early access.

Compared to the October announcement, plans have changed. Hollywood Animal Early Access is expected to launch on February 27, rather than January 16th. The team moved to make the launch version “a little bigger and better.”

Players will lead a Hollywood film studio at the dawn of sound cinema (late 20s) and will go with it through “decades of creative achievements, glamor, debauchery, broken destinies and deals with conscience.”
