Apacer introduced industrial modules DDR5-6400 CU-DIMM and CSO-DIMM

Apacer Technology has announced the start of mass production of industrial-grade DDR5-6400 RAM modules designed specifically for AI and HPC tasks. The products can be used in automation systems, medical equipment, IoT devices, intelligent automotive platforms, etc.

Solutions for DDR5-6400 standards CU-DIMM (Clocked Unbuffered DIMM) and CSO-DIMM (Clocked Small Outline DIMM) are presented. They operate at a voltage of 1.1 V. The capacity of the modules is 8, 16, 32 and 64 GB.

According to Apacer Technology, high quality components are used in the design of products. Fully lead-free resistors are mentioned. In addition, the modules comply with the latest JEDEC Raw Card Revision 1.0 standards, ensuring stable data transfer and high performance.

For products, a special conformal coating is available as an option, designed to protect against the negative influence of environmental factors: elevated temperatures, moisture, pollution, chemicals and mechanical influences. The operating temperature range extends from 0 to +85 °C.

Additionally, sulfonation protection may be added. Sulfur is widely used in many industries. When the silver alloys in DRAM chips are exposed to sulfur dioxide gases, a corrosive reaction occurs: sulfonation leads to a decrease in conductivity and rapid failure of the products. Apacer uses patented technology to solve the problem.
