Following the characters from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CD Projekt Red will send heroes from its other game, Cyberpunk 2077, to the free-to-play battle royale Fortnite from Epic Games.
Data miners learned that content based on Cyberpunk 2077 would appear in Fortnite in the middle of last week, but confirmation of the crossover from Epic Games came only the day before.
The official Fortnite microblog published a 13-second video (attached below) with the caption: “We are waiting for guests from Night City.” The guests were Johnny Silverhand and the female version of the protagonist V.
According to data miners, Johnny in Fortnite will have two appearances (with and without glasses). The crossover also includes two back blings (Bolt drone and Johnny’s bomb bag) and two pickaxes (Mantis Blades and Arasaka’s katana).
In addition, users will get a Johnny guitar, a Quadra Turbo-R car, and a themed weapon skin. A full review of unreleased new products was given by blogger Tabor Hill. The crossover starts on December 24.
It is noteworthy that the appearance of Johnny Silverhand will be the second in Fortnite with the appearance of actor Keanu Reeves. In the past, another of his characters was added to the game – John Wick from the action movie franchise of the same name.
Recently, Fortnite also launched a winter festival, led by an in-game version of singer Mariah Carey. The event will end on January 7, 2025 at 17:00 Moscow time.
