Patch 1.1.3 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is available now on PC (7.4 GB on Steam) and Xbox consoles (9.4 GB). The patch brought with it a number of technical fixes.

In particular, the developers have eliminated a bug due to which in the story mission “Road to the Foundation” an important NPC (name omitted to avoid spoilers) could disappear from the Energetik Palace of Culture.

GSC also solved problems with axis inversion settings not being saved after restarting the game and with loss of control when the user starts studying the artifact after shooting and reloading.

As for crashes, we fixed a few more errors like ACCESS_VIOLATION and proposed a temporary solution for application crashes during shader compilation by skipping the preparatory stage of the process.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 debuted on November 20 on PC (Steam, GOG, Microsoft Store, EGS), Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass. Sales in two days after the release exceeded 1 million copies – according to the co-owner of GSC, the game has already paid for itself.
