Lian Li has introduced a series of UNI FAN TL Wireless case fans with sizes of 120 and 140 mm. A special feature of the new products is their support for wireless control. They do not require a special wired controller (hub), thereby minimizing the number of wires in the PC. A 2.4 GHz radio channel is used to control the fans.
The UNI FAN TL Wireless fan series consists of models with normal and reverse rotation. This also includes UNI FAN TL LCD Wireless models (also available in regular and reverse motion versions), equipped with a 1.6-inch IPS screen supporting a resolution of 400 × 400 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Various useful information about the system can be displayed on the screen. Additionally, it can display user content in MP4, GIF, JPG and PNG formats.
The fan design uses polyamide 66. The impeller consists of an elastic liquid crystal polymer. For UNI FAN TL LCD Wireless models, a rotation speed of up to 1900 rpm is claimed, the creation of an air flow of up to 62 CFM, static pressure of up to 2.9 mm water. Art. and noise level up to 27 dBA.
UNI FAN TL Wireless models feature rotation speeds up to 2600 rpm, maximum airflow up to 90.1 CFM and static pressure up to 3.97 mmH2O. Art., and the fan noise level does not exceed 33 dBA.
The UNI FAN TL LCD Wireless and TL Wireless fans are supplied with a special L-Wireless SYNC controller. This compact USB device is responsible for controlling the speed and ARGB lighting of the fans via a 2.4 GHz radio signal. The controller can be connected to one of the UBS headers on the back of the motherboard or via the internal USB 2.0 and PWM headers. Up to 10 fans can be attached to one L-Wireless SYNC controller. It also supports the connection of Strimer Wireless ARGB cables and UNI FAN SL Wireless fans.
Each fan or group of fans is synchronized with the L-Wireless SYNC controller using a receiver compatible with the TL Wireless and SL Wireless series fans. The TL Wireless receiver provides power for the backlight and fan motor via the PWM connector of the motherboard. To supply a signal to the IPS display of TL LCD Wireless fans, a USB 2.0 connection is required. Users can also use the 9-pin SATA-powered USB hub or the built-in 4-port USB hub included with Lian Li power supplies to connect three to four groups of display-equipped fans.
The cost of the new products ranges from $32.99 to $51.99 for one fan and from $109.99 to $149.99 for a set of three fans. New items are available in black and white versions. More details about prices are in the table above. Pre-orders for UNI FAN TL Wireless fans are accepted from December 20th.
