Intel has revealed the characteristics of Core 200H mobile processors – these are not new chips

Intel has published the characteristics of Core 200H mobile processors on its website. Information about them appeared on the company’s official website. It’s a stretch to call these chips new, since these are renamed Raptor Lake-H models.

It should be recalled that the Intel Core 200 series of processors will consist of five model series. Models without the Ultra prefix in the name are Raptor Lake-U/H Refresh.

Intel Core 200 series processors:

  • Core Ultra 200S (200K/200 without “K”/200T) – desktop Arrow Lake-S;
  • Core Ultra 200HX (200HX) – mobile Arrow Lake-HX for powerful gaming laptops;
  • Core Ultra 200H (200H) – mobile Arrow Lake-H for laptops in the mass segment;
  • Core Ultra 200V (200V) – mobile Lunar Lake-MX for premium laptop models and portable consoles;
  • Core 200H/U (200H/200U) – Raptor Lake-H/U Refresh for laptops in the mass segment.

According to the information provided by Intel on its website, the senior model of the Core 200H series (Raptor Lake-H) is the Core 9 270H. The chip offers 14 cores with support for 20 virtual threads and operates at up to 5.8 GHz. The series also includes a 14-core and 20-thread Core 7 250H model with a frequency of up to 5.4 GHz, a 10-core and 16-thread Core 7 240H with a frequency of up to 5.2 GHz, a 12-core and 16-thread Core model 5 220H with a frequency of up to 4.9 GHz, as well as 8-core and 12-thread Core 5 210H model with a frequency of up to 4.8 GHz. The chips are also equipped with integrated graphics with the number of execution units from 48 to 96 pieces. The declared TDP of the processors is 45 W.

All the processors presented in the table above are based on Raptor Lake crystals. Earlier this year, the company released a series of energy-efficient Core 100U (Raptor Lake-U Refresh) processors for thin laptops.

Expected models of Intel Core 200 mobile processors

To date, Intel has officially announced plans to announce processors of the Core Ultra 200H and Core Ultra 200HX series. They will be presented either at CES 2025 or during the first quarter of next year. The Core 200H models will be a direct replacement for 13th generation Intel Core processors, thereby bypassing Meteor Lake.
