“I need this game yesterday, today and tomorrow”: the first gameplay trailer for the role-playing action game Exodus in the spirit of Mass Effect delighted fans

Founded by BioWare veteran James Ohlen, Archetype Entertainment has unveiled the first gameplay trailer for its ambitious non-linear sci-fi action RPG Exodus.

In the story of Exodus, people have left the dying Earth and are fighting for survival in the Centauri Cluster. The protagonist June Aslan is a Traveler in whom the DNA of a human and a Celestial (the main enemy of humanity) is mixed.

Travelers are engaged in stealing advanced technology from the Celestials. For agents, these interstellar missions last a few days, but for people at home, they last decades. This effect is called time dilation.

In particular, the developers showed open encounters with various enemies, including an awakened (intelligent) bear, stealth, exploration of alien locations, a talking frog, and teasers of story events.

The game is built around time dilation – the effect will allow you to evaluate the long-term consequences of decisions made. From a device perspective, Exodus will be similar to BioWare games Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Exodus is being created for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. There is no release date, but fans can’t wait. “I need this game yesterday, today and tomorrow,” Yennefer hints at the iconic phrase of Matthew McConaughey’s character.
