TCL has introduced the T6L QD-Mini LED TV 2025 series. The new products are available in four sizes, support 4K resolution and have 50% higher brightness than their predecessors thanks to the latest Mini LED matrix with quantum dots. Other features include support for refresh rates up to 288Hz, four HDMI ports supporting 4K@144Hz, and various gaming settings.
The TCL T6L QD-Mini LED TV series includes models with screen diagonals of 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches. According to the manufacturer, thanks to the latest QD-Mini technologies, LED TVs provide 53.8% higher brightness and at the same time they are 10% more energy efficient than solutions of previous generations.
The number of backlight sections on T6L series TVs varies from 180 to 420 depending on size. The maximum brightness is 1100 cd/m2 for the two younger models and 1300 cd/m2 for the two older ones. The Quantum Dot Pro 2025 technology used in the matrix, as stated by the manufacturer, provides 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Other features of the new products include a 7000:1 contrast ratio and a refresh rate of up to 288 Hz. The 55-inch T6L model has a refresh rate limited to 240Hz.
The TCL T6L QD-Mini LED TV series runs the Control System 3.0 operating system, which uses custom Xbox, PlayStation and Switch interfaces. The new product offers a variety of external ports, including four HDMI, one of which supports 4K@144 Hz eARC, as well as USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.
In China, TVs of the TCL T6L QD-Mini LED series are already available: the 55-inch model is priced at 2899 yuan (about $389), the 65-inch model is priced at 3699 yuan ($508), the 75-inch model is priced at 4799 yuan (about $659), and the 85-inch one costs RMB 6,199 (approx. $851).
