Lexar introduced ARES DDR5-6000 CL26 RAM, which is optimized for the AMD AM5 platform and Ryzen processors, including the flagship Ryzen 7 9800X3D. As reflected in the name, the new modules feature extremely low latency, delivering up to a 10% increase in gaming performance compared to CL30 modules.

Gamers choosing systems on the AMD AM5 platform are faced with the need to find a balance between optimal RAM speed and its stability. Frequencies in the range of 6000-6400 MT/s are considered most suitable for synchronous operation with the Infinity Fabric bus, which provides reliable performance. However, selecting frequencies above this range can disrupt synchronization, which leads to a decrease in the performance of the entire system.

CL30 latency memory has already proven itself to be a fairly practical option, but the Lexar ARES DDR5-6000 CL26 has an even lower CAS Latency 26, making it especially attractive to gamers. The manufacturer claims that this feature improves frame rates by 1% in the most dynamic gaming scenes, and the overall performance increase reaches 10% compared to the popular CL30 modules. Thus, the new memory kit becomes the optimal choice for users seeking maximum performance without significantly increasing costs.

The ARES DDR5-6000 CL26 memory kit is designed taking into account the specific operation of AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processors. This configuration achieves a minimum latency of less than 55 ns, which has a positive effect on system performance. Memory modules based on SK hynix A-die chips support stable operation at a voltage of 1.45 V at a frequency of 6000 MT/s. However, the capacity of the kit is limited to only two modules of 16 GB each, which may not be enough for professional users working with resource-intensive tasks.

At the moment, Lexar ARES DDR5-6000 CL26 RAM can be purchased exclusively on the Chinese market. Its cost is 899 yuan ($126). The set is available in two color options – black and silver, which allows you to select modules to match the style of your gaming system. At the same time, the manufacturer has not announced plans to sell the new product outside of China or increase the volume of each module to 24 or 32 GB, which significantly limits its potential audience.
