The Game Awards 2024 kicked off with a half-hour pre-show, which also included several announcements. The Game Kitchen studio (Blasphemous series) has announced a 2D adventure action game Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, S and Switch. Release – summer 2025.
The Ramage Games team will release a cozy, story-driven first-person puzzle game, One Move Away, in 2025 on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
Developers from Mega Crit showed a gameplay trailer for the card roguelike Slay the Spire 2. Early access (Steam) starts in 2025.
The creators of the deep-sea role-playing adventure Dave the Diver from Mintrocket have announced the In the Jungle expansion. The release is expected at the end of 2025.
OtherSide Entertainment presented the multiplayer stealth game Thick as Thieves for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
Bandai Namco has announced a dark metroidvania Shadow Labyrinth in the Pac-Man universe. An unusual take on the classic franchise is expected in 2025 on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X, S and Switch.
Ys Net studio, led by Shenmue and Virtua Fighter creator Yu Suzuki, has presented the action-adventure game Steel Paws for Netflix subscribers on iOS and Android. The release is scheduled for 2025.
Early access of the multiplayer shooter Midnight Murder Club from Velan Studios (Knockout City) starts in February 2025 on PC (Steam) and PS5.
The authors of Core Keeper from Pugstorm have announced an adventure sandbox for eight players Kyora for PC (Steam). There is no release date, but early access has already been confirmed.

The survival simulator The Long Dark from Hinterland Studio will receive a continuation – early access Blackfrost: The Long Dark 2 will start in 2026 on PC (Steam).
Gearbox showed a gameplay trailer for the looter shooter Borderlands 4. It will launch in 2025 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy XVI will appear in the fighting game Tekken 8 as a paid guest character. The fighter will become available on December 16th to holders of the first year pass and on the 19th to everyone else.
The free-to-play multiplayer action game about combat robots Mecha Break from the Amazing Seasun Games studio will be released in the spring of 2025 on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X and S, and the version for PS5 still has no release date.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (Like a Dragon series), with the support of Sega, announced two games at once – a new full-fledged part of the Virtua Fighter series of fighting games and an action-adventure Project Century in the surroundings of Japan at the beginning of the 20th century.
Saber Interactive presented the cooperative third-person shooter Turok: Origins for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Release dates have not been specified.
Arrowhead Game Studios has announced the return of the Illuminati faction to the co-op shooter Helldivers 2 with the release of the Omens of Tyranny content update. The patch is already available.
Free add-on 1999 to the online shooter Warframe from Digital Extremes is scheduled for release on December 13th.
The Feybreak content update for the acclaimed survival simulator Palworld will be released in Early Access on December 23.

Developers of Overcooked! from Ghost Town Games, with the support of Hello Games, will release the cooperative adventure for two Stage Fright on Steam for PC (Steam). There is no release date, but there is an announcement trailer.
