Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro reached international sales in white, black and green colors. The purple version remained exclusive to the Chinese market. The manufacturer still does not officially announce which processor is used in smartphones. However, there is an assumption that this is the Kirin 9020 – an eight-core chip with a frequency of up to 2.5 GHz, some of the cores of which support multi-threading. The processor also uses a Maleoon 920 GPU operating at frequencies up to 840 MHz.

The Nova 13 Pro model received a 6.76-inch LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 2776 × 1224 pixels, an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a sensor frequency of 300 Hz, a PWM brightness control frequency of 2160 Hz and support for AOD (Always-On) mode.

The main camera block of the Nova 13 Pro consists of a 50-megapixel sensor with variable aperture optics (f/1.4–f/4.0) and optical stabilization, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with support for 3x optical zoom (f/2.4) and optical stabilization, as well as 8 -MP sensor for wide-angle shooting (f/2.2) with autofocus support.

The base Nova 13 features a 6.7-inch OLED display with 2412 x 1084 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz sensor frequency, 1440Hz PWM brightness control, and AOD support. The main camera block of the device consists of a 50-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 optics and an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 optics for wide-angle shooting. The main camera of both devices claims to have laser autofocus, HDR support and 4K shooting.

Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro received 60-megapixel selfie cameras with f/2.4 optics and a 100-degree viewing angle for group shots, capable of shooting video in 4K at 30 frames per second. The Nova 13 Pro model has an additional 8-megapixel camera with a telephoto lens for individual portraits. Both smartphones support the new AI camera feature AI Best Expression. She independently looks for the best facial expressions in individual and group shots and takes a photo.

The Nova 13 Pro measures 163.4 x 74.9 x 7.82 and weighs 209 grams. The dimensions of Huawei Nova 13 are 161.4 × 75.3 × 6.98 mm and the weight is 195 grams. Both smartphones received 5000 mAh batteries with support for 100 W fast wired charging. The Nova 13 Pro model charges a little faster and replenishes the battery charge to 50% in 9 minutes; the basic version takes 10 minutes for the same operation.

In international sales, the Nova 13 model is available only in one memory configuration of 12/256 GB costing €549. The Nova 13 Pro is available with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for €699.

Huawei also announced the start of international sales of the new FreeBuds Pro 4 wireless headphones. These are the first TWS headphones with support for the HarmonyOS Next operating system and the first with the Kirin A2 processor, which provides data transfer at 2.3 Mbps and 24-bit audio playback with sampling rates up to 48 kHz. Previous models of Huawei TWS headphones provided transfer speeds of 1.5 Mbps or even 990 Kbps.

The new product uses 11-mm four-magnetic dynamic drivers with microplanar tweeters, as well as four microphones and a bone conduction microphone. The microphones are responsible for the operation of the active noise reduction system, capable of blocking external sounds with a volume of up to 100 dBA and wind noise at a speed of up to 10 m/s. The headphones also have support for spatial audio, and the latency in games is about 90 ms.

The new product supports dual connections. For example, you can simultaneously select a smartphone and a laptop as the audio source for FreeBuds Pro 4. They switch between signal sources automatically. When you remove the headphones, they automatically pause playback. The new product also supports head movement control – you just need to nod in the right direction.

In music listening mode without noise reduction, FreeBuds Pro 4 will last up to 7 hours on battery power, and with recharging from the case – up to 33 hours. With noise reduction, these figures will be reduced to 5 or 23 hours, respectively. In phone call mode without noise reduction, the new product will work up to 4.5 hours or 22 hours with a case, and with noise reduction – up to 3.5 hours or 18 hours, respectively.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 are available in black, white and green. Their cost is €199. Availability varies by region.
