The world of medieval Bohemia in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is not very conducive to survival, so the developers from the Czech Warhorse Studios gave players some tips on how not to give up the ghost at the very beginning of the passage.
Warhorse lead designer Prokop Jirsa shared survival tips for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 users in a recent 9-minute video from IGN. The story was accompanied by new footage from the game.
According to Yirsa, the protagonist of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is not a superhero, and the world of the game (especially at first) is extremely dangerous: there is no good equipment, as well as easy ways to achieve goals. This was done intentionally.
First of all, players should keep their eyes open and be curious – NPCs do not stand with exclamation marks over their heads, but hint in conversations about interesting places in the game world.
Yirsa also recommends using all available advantages – cover of night, stealth, sabotage and other alternatives to open combat – and not being afraid of heavy armor (it is not as bulky as it seems).
Among the ways to earn extra money, Yirsa highlights blacksmithing (the sequel features a full-fledged crafting system), potion-making, and theft. Finally, the developer advised to get your own horse (not stolen) as soon as possible.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be released on February 4, 2025 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Along with the recent story trailer, Warhorse has finally presented the system requirements of the game.
