Brick Life has been announced – a social RPG in the spirit of the GTA V role-playing servers, but in Lego format and inside Fortnite

Following the Counter-Strike analogue, the popular shareware battle royale Fortnite from Epic Games will also receive its own version of GTA, but in the Lego block format – the company announced Lego Fortnite Brick Life.

Lego Fortnite Brick Life is positioned as a social role-playing game in the world of Lego Fortnite. The announcement trailer promises the opportunity to make friends, live in a dream home and build your own life.

«Pack the pieces and bricks in your suitcase and head into an ever-evolving city where you can create your own stories by interacting with the world and other residents,” says Epic.

Players will explore picturesque corners of the city with friends (32 people are promised to support them), visit restaurants and rooftop clubs, participate in street races on anti-gravity boards, and much more.

Users can also choose a profession (professor, security guard, crook, sushi chef, fortune teller, bubble tea master) and decorate their home with decorative items and all kinds of Lego furniture.

As journalists from PC Gamer and The Verge noted, Brick Life appears to be an interpretation of the popular GTA V role-playing servers, while the game’s key illustration (attached above) is a reference to GTA VI.

Brick Life will release on December 12th on all platforms that support Fortnite. Meanwhile, Lego Fortnite’s survival adventure will transform into Lego Fortnite Odyssey with the release of the Stormchasers update (released today, December 10).
