The number of installations of the VK Video application on Android, iOS and Android TV devices since its launch in September 2023 has exceeded 44 million. The daily record for views of the domestic competitor of the YouTube platform amounted to 2.9 billion, writes TASS with reference to the VK Video report on results of the year.

According to Mediascope, in 2024, the service’s active monthly audience increased to 72.2 million. At the same time, the number of original content creators increased by 52%, and subscriptions to their pages increased by 3.5 times. The share of VK Video views on Smart TV devices is more than 30% of all views on the platform.
The most popular among authors on the video service is the presenter, comedian and actor Azamat Musagaliev, with Vlad A4 in 2nd place. Anton Shastun also entered the top three. The most discussed by users were the Natal Chart show, the community about Chinese gymnastics, as well as the Improkom projects and videos of coach Oleg Popov.
In 2024, the first episodes of Teens in Space had the most views (25 million views). Next in popularity are “Cupid” (13.9 million), “Rector” (11.9 million), “Cerberus” (11.7 million) and “At the Call of the Heart” (11.3 million). The most popular in the cartoon category was “The Good Bee. A song about a goat wolfberry! (1.46 million views), “Luntik and his friends” (1.45 million), “Barboskins. Bee” (1.39 million), “Blue Tractor. Owl Lullaby” (1.34 million) and “Doctor Mashinkova. Important traffic light” (1.31 million).
