Seasonic introduced Core GX ATX 3 power supplies up to 1000 W

Seasonic has introduced an updated series of Core GX ATX 3 power supplies. The new products comply with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 power supply standards. The series includes models of power supplies with a power of 650, 750, 850 and 1000 W.

Seasonic Core GX ATX 3 power supplies offer a fully modular cabling design and will be available in black and white. All models in the series have an 80 Plus Gold efficiency certificate, which confirms their high efficiency under load. All power supplies, including the low-end 650W model, are equipped with the latest 12V-2×6 power connector for video cards, and also provide up to three (depending on power) standard 8-pin power connectors.

The Seasonic Core GX ATX 3 series uses a new proprietary OptiSink cooling scheme, previously debuted in the Focus GX (2024) series of power supplies. This technology optimizes the internal assembly and space of the power supply, improving air circulation and significantly accelerating heat transfer from operating components. A 120 mm fan is responsible for active cooling of components in power supplies.

The manufacturer provides a seven-year warranty for the Core GX ATX 3 series. The 650W, 750W and 850W power supplies will be available in the US next January with prices of $89.99, $99.99 and $129.99 respectively. In EU countries, black versions of power supplies of the same power are expected at the end of this month with prices of 105.90, 115.90 and 129.90 euros. White versions will go on sale at the end of February 2025.

In other regions, new products with a power of 650, 750, 850 and 1000 W will be available until the end of this year. Black models are priced at $89.99, $99.99, $119.99 and $149.99. The white versions come in 650, 750 and 850 W modules with prices of $94.99, $104.99 and $129.99 respectively.
