The Dragon Age: The Veilguard character editor became a standalone application, and the famous armor from Dragon Age 2 was added to the game

Following Mass Effect, another BioWare role-playing franchise waited for its unofficial holiday – on December 4, fans and developers traditionally celebrate Dragon Age Day, and 2024 was no exception.

Firstly, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has received its fourth patch. The update adds the option to take screenshots during dialogues and intro videos on PC and the ability to disable blur, and also eliminates a number of bugs.

Secondly, after installing the fourth patch, players will receive a gift – the famous armor, body paint and a trace of blood on the nose of Hawk, the main character of Dragon Age 2. Rook can try on new cosmetic items.

Thirdly, a standalone version of the character editor from the game has been released on all target platforms of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The release was accompanied by a laconic trailer.

The Dragon Age: The Veilguard character editor is available for free on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Heroes created using the tool can be transferred to the full version of the game after purchase.

According to the developers, on the eve of the New Year holidays the team has prepared several more surprises for Dragon Age fans. BioWare does not disclose their composition, but urges you to monitor your social networks.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard was released on October 31 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game received mixed reviews from critics (76-85% on Metacritic) and “mostly positive” (71%) reviews from Steam users.
