Intel has released the Intel Graphics Software application for overclocking and tuning its video cards

Intel has introduced a new graphics management application. With the release of the first generation Intel Arc graphics cards, the company released the Arc Software application, designed to configure graphics cards, update drivers, and optimize. With the announcement of the new generation of Battlemage graphics cards, Intel announced that Arc Software will be replaced by a new application.

It is noteworthy that Intel decided to follow the example of AMD and Nvidia in choosing the name of the application. AMD graphics drivers were previously called Radeon Software, but have now been replaced by the generic name AMD Software. Nvidia, in turn, has completed the transition from GeForce Experience to the universal Nvidia App. Intel took a similar approach, replacing Arc Software with Intel Graphics Software. You can see the appearance of the new application in the gallery below.

Intel Graphics Software is a universal application for managing PC graphics and monitors. With it, users can customize game settings, optimize them for their GPUs, update drivers, change settings for individual and overall games, and manage display settings. The app also includes a performance optimization feature known as overclocking.

The new application offers more advanced overclocking options for Intel graphics cards compared to Arc Software. For example, it became possible to overclock video memory. According to the data provided, the memory speed of 19 Gbps per pin can be increased to 22 Gbps per pin. In addition, you can configure the power consumption parameters of the video card, operating voltage and GPU frequency.

New features have also been added to Intel Graphics Software. For example, Low Latency Mode is designed to reduce latency when using XeSS technology. This function can be configured in the Graphics tab.

It is expected that the new Intel Graphics Software will be released simultaneously with the release of the Arc B580 Battlemage series graphics card, which is expected in the middle of this month.
