Honor held two events today, one of them in China, where the presentation of the Honor 300 series of smartphones took place, and the second in Malaysia, where the entry-level smartphone Honor X9c Smart was presented.
The Honor X9c Smart is similar in specifications to the Honor X60, except for the camera configuration on the rear panel. It uses a 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU, manufactured on a 6nm process, coupled with 8GB of RAM, expandable up to 16GB using Honor RAM technology Turbo. The capacity of the flash drive is 256 GB.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080p (2412 × 1080 pixels), a refresh rate of 120 Hz, an aspect ratio of 20.1:9 and support for displaying 16.7 million colors. The display supports brightness up to 850 cd/m2. The hole at the top of the display houses a front-facing 16MP selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture.
On the rear panel there is a main 108-megapixel camera with an f/1.75 aperture and digital zoom up to 10x, complemented by a 5-megapixel wide-angle module (f/2.2). The smartphone runs Android 14 with MagicOS 8 software shell. The 5800 mAh battery supports 35 W fast charging. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is used to unlock the device.
The new product has increased resistance to shocks and falls, maintaining functionality when dropped from a height of 2 m. Increased resistance to moisture is also reported.
Honor X9c Smart will be available for pre-order from December 11 in Ocean Cyan and Moonlight White colors. The price of the device will be known on the day pre-orders start.
