Following the recent official confirmation by Intel of the imminent announcement of Arc Battlemage video cards, followers of the leak have revealed almost complete characteristics of future new products.
Intel is expected to present two video cards of the new series on December 3 – Arc B580 and Arc B570. Both new products will belong to the middle segment. According to leaked promotional materials from ASRock, the Arc B570 Challenger OC model received a graphics processor with 144 XMX engines consisting of 18 Xe2 cores, which is two cores and 16 engines less than the Arc B580 video card chip. The Arc B570 will also offer 10 GB of GDDR6 memory with support for a 160-bit bus. This will give 380 GB/s of memory bandwidth, which is 16.7% less than the Arc B580, which received 12 GB of memory with support for a 192-bit bus (456 GB/s bandwidth).
Arc B580 and B570 will receive support for the PCIe 4.0 interface. In this case, the cards will use only eight PCIe lanes out of 16 available. Both cards received DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 connectors. ASRock does not specify in its materials which version of DisplayPort 2.1 it is, but earlier leaks suggest that we are talking about the UHBR 13.5 (54 Gbps) variant.
The overclocked version of ASRock’s Arc B570 Challenger OC will offer a GPU frequency of 2.6 GHz, while the ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend OC will be clocked at 2.8 GHz. The reference frequencies of GPUs will be slightly lower. The energy consumption characteristics of the new products are not reported. However, for the Arc B570 model, the manufacturer recommends a power supply of 600 W or more, and for the Arc B580 model – from 650 W. The younger new product is equipped with one 8-pin power connector, the older one received two of the same.
