LG has released a 27-inch IPS monitor UltraFine 27US550-W, aimed at representatives of creative professions. The new product, priced at $340, offers support for 4K resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels) and low-resolution image enhancement technology.
The display claims 90 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and support for 10-bit color depth (more than 1 billion colors and shades). The monitor is equipped with proprietary Super Resolution+ technology, which improves image quality after upscaling, making edges sharper and clearer, eliminating jagged edges and reducing noise. This technology also reduces excessive sharpening, making the image easier for the human eye to perceive. As a result, the picture on the screen looks more natural. In addition, the monitor supports displaying HDR10 content.
The device operates with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, has a response time of 5 ms and a brightness of 300 cd/m². Additional monitor features include a DAS mode for reduced latency, a black stabilizer for better visibility in dark scenes, a picture mode that reduces blue light, and anti-flicker technology.
The monitor comes with an ergonomic stand that allows you to adjust the height of the screen above the table, as well as its rotation and tilt angles. The LG UltraFine 27US550-W is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 and a 3.5 mm audio output.
