Xiaomi has officially introduced its flagship smartphone Redmi K80 Pro and its special Champion Edition, inspired by the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 supercar, to the Chinese market. The device has a double-layer glass body with ultra-thin 1.9 mm frames around the display, which are 21% thinner than its predecessor. Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0 protective glass provides the device, according to the manufacturer, with 20 times greater strength.

The Redmi K80 Pro features a 6.67-inch TCL M9 OLED flat panel with a resolution of 3200×1440, variable refresh rate up to 120Hz (LTPS), 12-bit color depth and peak brightness of 3200 cd/m². Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Care 2.0 technology reduces eye strain. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is installed under the screen.
The device is built on the 3-nanometer Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which, according to the manufacturer, provides improved energy efficiency compared to its predecessor, a 45 percent increase in CPU performance and a 44 percent increase in GPU performance.
Redmi K80 Pro is equipped with a dedicated D1 gaming chip, LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.0 storage and Fury Engine 4.0 technology for dynamic frequency scaling. Improved dual-circuit 3D cooling delivers, according to Xiaomi, “smooth and stable performance during intense gaming.”
Redmi K80 Pro is equipped with a versatile triple camera, with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main camera with OIS and 13.2EV cinematic dynamic range, a 32MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 120° field of view, and a 50MP telephoto camera supporting 2. 5x optical zoom, 5x zoom Lossless, 20x digital zoom and macro mode for challenging close-ups. The selfie camera has a resolution of 20 megapixels.
The device has a built-in infrared remote control and supports NFC. The phone is equipped with a specialized Surge T1S signal enhancement chip that supports 19 5G bands for reliable connectivity. Built-in stereo speakers provide loud and clear sound. The smartphone runs HyperOS 2, which provides improved performance, faster application launch and minimal latency.
The K80 Pro has a 6000 mAh battery. The kit comes with 120W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone has an IP68 protection rating against dust and water. Redmi K80 Pro is available in Snow Rock White, Mountain Green and Midnight Black colors.

Xiaomi also introduced a special version of the Redmi K80 Pro Champion Edition. According to the company, the design of this special edition is inspired by the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 supercar, which is emphasized by the Y-shaped lines on the rear panel, “reflecting its racing DNA.”
Redmi K80 Pro Champion Edition comes in a single configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB storage. The kit includes customized accessories: charger, data cable, shield-shaped SIM eject tool, protective case and user manual. The phone comes pre-installed with themes and wallpapers that “highlight its premium and exclusive appeal.”
