SilverStone introduced the ZEUS 1650R Titanium power supply with a power of 1650 W. Theoretically, the new product allows you to connect up to nine video cards, since it has a pair of 12V-2×6 standard connectors (interestingly, three corresponding cables are included with the power supply), as well as seven cables with a PCIe 6+2 pin connector.
The SilverStone ZEUS 1650R Titanium meets ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5 power standards and is 80 Plus Titanium certified for efficiency. Its efficiency at any load level does not fall below 90%.
The power supply uses high-quality Japanese capacitors with increased service life and the ability to operate at high temperatures. A 135 mm quiet and efficient fan that supports three operating modes is responsible for cooling the components in the power supply.
In the first mode, the fan does not rotate when the load on the power supply is less than 50%, which makes its operation absolutely silent. As the load increases above 50%, it gradually gains momentum. The second mode allows the fan to operate at a speed of 20% of the maximum at low load on the power supply. After overcoming the 60 percent load threshold on the power supply, it also increases the operating speed. The third mode allows the fan to operate at maximum speed constantly. This variability allows you to customize the power supply to your needs, taking into account the conditions of use.
Various protection mechanisms are specified for the ZEUS 1650R Titanium, including overcurrent and overvoltage, overload, short circuit, overtemperature and undervoltage protection. The new product comes with a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
The dimensions of the power supply are 150 × 86 × 180 mm and the weight is 3.87 kg. The new product has a completely modular design of power cables. The ZEUS 1650R Titanium is not available for sale yet. SilverStone did not disclose its price.
