Adata introduced XPG Hurricane Mag reverse fans – they are assembled into garlands using magnets

Adata has introduced XPG Hurricane Mag case fans, which have very interesting features. Firstly, they can operate in two modes – normal and reverse. Secondly, these fans can be combined into a chain using magnets, which simplifies the installation process and adds neatness to the system.

To organize effective cooling inside the case, it is necessary to create positive pressure, that is, the pressure inside the case must be higher than outside it. This is achieved by installing more air intake fans than exhaust fans. With positive pressure, less dust enters the case as air is drawn through the dust filter openings on the front and top panels. Otherwise, dust, on the contrary, will be actively drawn inside.

The new 120mm XPG Hurricane Mag fans can be easily configured to either draw or blow air. With the ability to change direction with the touch of a button, XPG Hurricane Mag fans make it easier to manage airflow inside your case.

Another important feature of the fans is that they are equipped with magnetic fasteners, which allow them to be combined into a circuit, minimizing the number of wires used for connection to one. It is possible to combine up to six fans in a chain.

Adata XPG Hurricane Mag is equipped with RGB lighting. The manufacturer claims for them an operating speed of up to 2000 rpm. They produce airflow up to 54.82 ± 10% CFM in standard operation and up to 49.27 ± 10% CFM in reverse operation. For new products, a service life of 160,000 hours is declared and a two-year manufacturer’s warranty is provided.

Adata will offer the XPG Hurricane Mag individually or in sets of four. The manufacturer does not indicate the cost of the fans.
