“The biggest Call of Duty in history”: Activision boasted of the success of Black Ops 6 in the first month of release

Thanks to its inclusion in the Game Pass subscription, the military shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 from publisher Activision and developers from Treyarch started stronger than all other games in the series, but did not lose popularity even a month after its release.

Let’s remember that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 set several records within the franchise, including the number of players, the amount of time spent and the number of multiplayer matches during the first weekend.

As it became known from a message on the official microblog of the series, after a month from the release, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 continues to hold the lead in all of the above parameters.

«In the first 30 days since launch, together you have made Black Ops 6 the biggest Call of Duty in history,” reads Activision’s message in the image (attached above) of the game’s success.

Treyarch thanked fans for their support and, in honor of the achieved result, announced that the promised period with double experience in Black Ops 6 will begin not with the onset of the weekend, but on Wednesday, November 27th.

Although Black Ops 6 is available on Game Pass, the new Call of Duty has become the best-selling game of October in the US (largely thanks to the PlayStation version) and has already reached third place in the best-seller rankings of 2024.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was released on October 25 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, as well as Game Pass (Ultimate and PC Game Pass). The game includes a story campaign, multiplayer and Zombies mode.
