Xiaomi has introduced a new series of smart TVs, Redmi Smart TV X 2025. It includes four models equipped with 4K screens with diagonals from 55 to 85 inches and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, as well as eye protection technologies for comfortable viewing for long periods of time.
It is reported that the screens of all models of the new series provide 94% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, which guarantees accurate color reproduction. Also, all models are based on the flagship quad-core MediaTek MT9655 processor combined with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. According to Xiaomi, the processor is capable of providing high response speed.
To control the new TVs, HyperOS 2 with advanced AI functions is used. The devices come with an easy-to-use remote control with NFC. It also reports support for Wi-Fi 6 wireless networks, a high-resolution user interface and an intelligent control center.
Sales of new products will start in China on November 27. The Redmi Smart TV X 55″ model costs 2,179 yuan (about $300), and the model with the largest screen with a diagonal of 85 inches will cost 4,799 yuan (about $649). Nothing is known yet about the prospects for the new series to appear on the international market.
