The Ruselectronics holding, which is part of the Rostec state corporation, has created a line of highly stable quartz oscillators that will replace American and German analogues in computer equipment, radio stations, and GLONASS-GPS navigation receivers. Currently, the stage of mastering the serial production of new electronic components is being implemented.
Let us recall that a quartz oscillator is used to synchronize the operation of different functional units of electronic devices. It is one of the most important components of digital electronics, since the stable operation of the entire device depends on its signal. The line of new products from the Meteor plant, part of Ruselectronics, includes temperature-compensated and clock quartz oscillators.
Temperature compensated oscillators provide a stable and accurate frequency reference at operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. Such devices are designed for surface mounting, have dimensions of 3.2 × 2.5 mm and have high mechanical strength. All this allows the use of such generators as part of mobile and stationary devices for various purposes. Three modifications of clock quartz oscillators of different sizes were also created. They are designed to stabilize the clock signal in all types of digital electronics.
General Director of the Meteor plant Yuri Valov said that the main trends in the development of the component base, including frequency stabilization devices, are associated with improving their performance characteristics and reducing their size. He also added that the characteristics of the quartz oscillators developed by the company are not inferior to the characteristics of foreign analogues, which are produced by companies from the USA and Germany.
