Benq’s Zowie gaming brand has unveiled the 24.1-inch XL2546X+ monitor for professional esports. The new product uses an ultra-fast Fast-TN matrix with DyAc 2 dual backlight technology to reduce blur and the effect of image trailing when moving.
Unlike the previously released Zowie XL2546X monitor, which supported a 240 Hz refresh rate, the new XL2546X+ model has a 280 Hz refresh rate. The monitor supports a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1.
The monitor is equipped with three HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.2, and a 3.5 audio output. It supports connection to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S game consoles via HDMI in Full HD picture mode at 120 Hz. The monitor stand allows you to adjust the height of the screen above the table, as well as its rotation and tilt angles.
Additionally, the manufacturer indicates that the monitor has an automatic color mode change function. It determines the content being played on the display and sets the necessary image settings independently. Of course, the function can be disabled.
The Zowie XL2546X+ gaming monitor is priced at $499.99.
