Although the action RPG Path of Exile 2 is a free-to-play game, you will have to pay for an early access pass. Developers from the New Zealand studio Grinding Gear Games have finally revealed the cost of the “entrance ticket”.
The day before, Grinding Gear Games announced that on November 21, as part of the GGG Live broadcast (see its recent teaser below), it will release new support packs with early access keys to Path of Exile 2, which will replace the current ones.
On the game’s official microblog, Grinding Gear Games clarified that, “unlike our regular core support kits, Early Access kits will start at $30.”
As noted by PC Gamer journalists, the main support sets for the original Path of Exile are sold for $60. Thus, the developers have halved the cost of early access to Path of Exile 2.
Fans were worried that Grinding Gear Games might price Path of Exile 2 Early Access at $60, so the news was met with excitement and a willingness to buy the support pack at the first available moment.
Core Supporter Packs contain exclusive cosmetic items and some premium currency. What exactly will be included in Path of Exile 2 Early Access kits will be announced at GGG Live.
Path of Exile 2 Early Access starts on December 6th. The GGG Live broadcast with details of the upcoming launch (including its content) will begin tomorrow, November 21, at 23:00 Moscow time.
