Corsair has announced an updated version of the K65 Plus wireless keyboard, compatible with Apple Mac computers. Also introduced is a new variant of the Corsair M75 wireless mouse. For Mac, both devices are available in exclusive colors including Glacier Blue and Frost.
The keyboard and mouse in Frost color are already on sale in the online store and Apple retail outlets for $179.95 and $129.95, respectively. Glacier Blue color options will be available at a later date. The Corsair K65 Plus wireless keyboard has 75% of the standard layout – it lacks a number pad. The device features pre-lubricated Corsair MLX Red v2 linear switches for reduced noise compared to other mechanical keyboards. The updated version of the keyboard also received key markings that correspond to the Apple Mac ecosystem. The iCue app for macOS lets you customize per-key functionality and LED lighting.
The battery life of the Corsair K65 Plus is up to 266 hours with the backlight off. However, the manufacturer did not specify in what mode this figure is achieved: when connecting via Bluetooth or using a 2.4 GHz wireless adapter. For the latter option, you will need an adapter from USB Type-A to USB Type-C, since Apple has abandoned USB Type-A connectors.
The Corsair M75 wireless gaming mouse weighs 89 grams and has an ambidextrous design suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The device is equipped with a Corsair Marksman optical sensor with a resolution of 26,000 dpi. The connection is made via Bluetooth or the proprietary Slipstream wireless protocol using an adapter. Customization of the backlight, sensor resolution, and button assignments is done in the Corsair iCue app.
