There is less than a month left until The Game Awards 2024, and the host of the ceremony, Geoff Keighley, revealed during a special broadcast which games will compete for the title of the best in 2024.

There are two leaders in the number of nominations for The Game Awards in 2024 – the adventure platformer Astro Bot from Team Asobi and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (the second episode of the Final Fantasy VII remake) from Square Enix are competing for seven awards.
The fantasy role-playing game Metaphor: ReFantazio from the creators of Persona was featured in six categories, and the psychedelic poker roguelike Balatro and the remake of Silent Hill 2 will compete for five statuettes.

Simultaneously with the announcement of the nominees for The Game Awards 2024, a voting page was opened on the official website of the ceremony. The winners are determined by the jury (90% influence on the result) and the fans (10%).
The Game Awards 2024 broadcast will begin on December 13 at 3:30 Moscow time. The nominations for the Players’ Voice category (entirely fan-voted) will be announced on December 2.
