The design of the SilverStone FLP01 is said to be inspired by the NEC PC-9800 series of PCs that were popular in Japan in the 80s and 90s. The horizontal form factor of the FLP01 case allows it to be used as a monitor stand.

On the front side of the case there are two plugs that simulate 5.25-inch drives. Behind the bottom is a panel of front connectors consisting of two USB Type-A, one USB Type-C and a combined audio output. The top one serves as the DVD drive door.

On the left side of the front panel there is a PC power button, as well as light indicators for the activity of the memory and power subsystem.

The case dimensions are 170 × 440 × 362 mm. At SilverStone EXPO 2024, the company showed a PC based on FLP01. It was equipped with an ATX motherboard, a full-size power supply, an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor and a GeForce RTX 4060 Ti video card.

The new product supports the installation of video cards up to 300 mm in length and processor coolers up to 138 mm in height. There are also four mounting spots for 120mm and two 80mm fans inside.
