GPD Pocket 4 is equipped with an 8.8-inch display. It is based on an LTPS matrix with a resolution of 2.5K and support for a refresh rate of 144 Hz, with a brightness of 500 cd/m2 and 97% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.

GPD is preparing to release three versions of the device. The base one received an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor from the Hawk Point series. The system will offer 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of permanent memory. This version will start at $829.

The company will also release two models based on AMD processors from the new Strix Point series. The version based on Ryzen AI 9 365 will offer 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of permanent memory. Its price will start at $1057. The flagship version on the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB of permanent memory is priced at $1,335. It should be noted that we are talking about prices for those who took part in the crowdfunding campaign. Retail prices will be higher as indicated in the table below.

An interesting feature of GPD Pocket 4 is the modular connector located on the back of the device. Users will be able to replace the standard rear connector with a KVM module or a module with multiple USB ports for connecting a mouse and keyboard. For those who need more free space on the drive, the manufacturer will offer a module for reading SD cards. It will also be possible to install a module with an LTE modem. The modules will cost from $48 to $110 for crowdfunding campaign participants and from $55 to $125 at retail.
