The world’s second largest graphics card maker is fleeing China to produce the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080

Hong Kong-based PC Partner, one of the largest manufacturers of graphics accelerators and known under the brands Zotac, Inno3D and Manli, will move its headquarters to Singapore, where a new company PC Partner Singapore PTE Ltd will be created. At the same time, the company is moving its production facilities from China to Indonesia. These actions are due to increasing US anti-Chinese sanctions.

It looks like the manufacturer will move its headquarters and production in time for the launch of Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards to circumvent any possible sanctions imposed by the US Department of Commerce against China. PC Partner’s recent listing on Singapore’s SGX also confirms the manufacturer’s intention to move into the country. Information about the transfer of production to Indonesia has not yet been confirmed.

The report says that PC Partner’s move to another country before the launch of new Nvidia graphics accelerators is due to the company’s desire to minimize the consequences of expected sanctions from the American government. The manufacturer has already suffered from US restrictions on RTX 40-series accelerators and it seems that the company has decided to spend time, effort and money to avoid this with RTX 50-series graphics cards. According to the source, total sales of brands owned by PC Partner make the company the second largest manufacturer of graphics accelerators in the world.

It is likely that PC Partner, after moving from China, plans to launch production of RTX 50-series video cards under the Zotac brand and other trademarks owned by the company, with the aim of supplying markets not subject to US sanctions. Considering the expected increase in the performance of new video cards, it may turn out that even the RTX 5080 accelerators will be too advanced and powerful to avoid sanctions, not to mention the RTX 5090.
