Colorful introduced iGame Shadow DDR5 memory with speeds up to 8000 MT/s and iGame Shadow DDR5 CKD with speeds up to 9600 MT/s

Colorful has introduced two series of RAM modules – iGame Shadow DDR5 and iGame Shadow DDR5 CKD. The second is designed specifically for the Intel LGA 1851 (Arrow Lake-S) platform and is distinguished by the presence of a built-in clock generator, which allows the memory to operate stably at higher frequencies.

The Colorful iGame Shadow DDR5 memory series is offered in the form of dual-channel kits with a total volume of 32 (2 × 16) and 48 (2 × 24) GB, operating in DDR5-6000, DDR5-6800, DDR5-8000 and DDR5-8400 modes with timings from CL28 up to CL42. For DDR5-6000 and DDR5-6800 memory modules, support for Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO overclocking profiles is declared. For DDR5-8000 and DDR5-8400 modules, only support for XMP 3.0 profiles is indicated. The manufacturer declares the operating voltage for new products to be from 1.35 to 1.4 V.

IGame Shadow DDR5 CKD memory modules of the new CUDIMM type offer DDR5-8800 and DDR5-9600 operating modes. The new products will be released in the form of dual-channel kits with a total capacity of 48 (2 × 24) GB and support XMP 3.0 overclocking profiles. The manufacturer does not disclose the operating voltage for these RAM modules.

Colorful notes that all new products use SK hynix M-Die memory chips. All presented memory modules are equipped with radiators with RGB backlighting.

According to VideoCardz, a 48 GB Colorful iGame Shadow DDR5-8000 memory kit is available for sale starting today. It can be purchased for 1349 yuan (about $186).
