With less than a month left until the premiere of the animated series based on the Secret Level games from the creators of Love, Death and Robots from Blur Studio and Amazon MGM Studios, a new trailer is designed to fuel the excitement around the show.
Let’s remember that Secret Level is a set of independent stories from the worlds of Warhammer 40,000, Armored Core, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, God of War, Mega Man, Pac-Man, Sifu, The Outer Worlds 2, Unreal Tournament and the now closed Concord.
Timed to coincide with the imminent premiere, the almost three-minute Secret Level trailer shows excerpts from the episodes based on them and sets up an “adventure especially for you.”
People in the comments sneered at the inclusion of a Concord episode in the show, but Secret Level creative director Tim Miller saw the Firewalk Studios project as something more than a failed hero shooter.
«I don’t regret [Concord] being a part of the show because I think it was a great episode. You can see the potential of this world and characters,” Miller said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone.
Keanu Reeves, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart, Gabriel Luna, Laura Bailey, Clive Standen and others gave their voices to Secret Level characters.
Secret Level starts on December 10th on Prime Video. The first batch will not include all 15 episodes – the missing ones will be released over the next week. The show is based on the Unreal Engine.
