Developers from Canadian Sabotage Studio have released a free Dawn of Equinox update for their old-school role-playing game Sea of Stars. On the occasion of the release, a separate video was presented demonstrating the main changes.

The update added support for co-op for three people, an expanded and redesigned prologue, a mode for fans of speedrunning, an improved combat system and a bonus cinematic scene.
The authors call Dawn of Equinox a “gift to the community” for the support provided since the announcement of Sea of Stars. More changes and fresh content can be expected in the upcoming paid add-on Throes of the Watchmaker. The DLC will be released in the spring of 2025.
Sea of Stars was released on August 29, 2023 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch. In the Valve service, the project has “very positive” reviews (88% rating).
