DapuStor introduced server QLC SSDs with a capacity of up to 61.44 TB

DapuStor has announced the J5000 and J5060 series enterprise-class SSDs, designed for data centers and read-intensive applications. The devices are made in U.2 format with a case thickness of 15 mm based on 3D QLC NAND flash memory chips.

The drives use the PCIe 4.0 x4 (NVMe 1.4a) interface with support for two ports, which simplifies system maintenance and upgrades. All products can withstand up to 0.5 complete rewrites per day (DWPD indicator), and the manufacturer’s warranty reaches five years. The stated MTBF (mean time between failures) is 2 million hours.

The J5000 family includes models with capacities up to 30.72 TB. Reading speed is up to 7400 MB/s, writing speed is up to 3000 MB/s. The IOPS value (input/output operations per second) when working with 4 KB data blocks reaches 1.5 million for random reading and 120 thousand for random writing. The J5060 series includes SSDs with capacities up to 61.44 TB: they have similar performance indicators, except that the random write IOPS is limited to 30 thousand.

For all drives, typical power consumption when reading/writing is 12/23 W, in idle mode – 5 W. Improved protection against power failures has been implemented, which guarantees the safety of information in emergency situations. Deliveries of the J5000 and J5060 products have already begun: in addition to versions with 30.72 and 61.44 TB, models with a capacity of 15.36 TB are available.
