Fulqrum Publishing (formerly 1C Publishing) and developer Dreamate have announced the release date for the old-school steampunk RPG New Arc Line, inspired by Arcanum and Dragon Age: Origins.
Let us remind you that New Arc Line was presented back in 2021, but the developers only secured the support of the publisher last summer. The release of the project was expected before the end of 2024.
As it became known, New Arc Line will go on sale for Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store on November 26 at a price of $20, but only in early access format. A full release is planned for 2025 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
The launch of New Arc Line through Dreamate Early Access was prompted by the numerous useful reviews the team received after releasing a temporary demo of the project as part of the October Steam festival “Gaming to Be.”
At the start of early access, New Arc Line will include a quarter of the main story, and as development progresses it will receive several content updates with additional locations, quests, companions, classes and gameplay mechanics.
New Arc Line will take place in a world where magic and fantasy creatures coexist with steampunk technology. Players will take on the role of a failed immigrant who will change the course of history.
They promise a character editor with four races to choose from (human, elf, dwarf, giant), a motley team of like-minded people, turn-based battles and a detailed progression system with 6 classes and 12 subclasses.
